VOLCOM BERGFEST presented by Circa, VOLCOM BERGFEST 2011, July 16th… The Battle At The Monsterbowl… Münster, Germany…
Looks like it’s going to be blast 
„Bowls, Beers and Punkrock“ – on July 16th the VOLCOM BERGFEST 2011, presented by Circa, will take place at the infamous Skatepark Berg Fidel in Münster. Well known skaters from all over the world such as Anders Tellen, Jason Parkes, John Magnussen and Jürgen Horrwarth are confirmed and won’t miss the chance to shred the new bowl.Of course, the perfect music is already taken care of. No other than the legendary U.S. Bombs, with their singer Duane Peters, and McRad, which is well known from various skateboard videos, will rock the stage right next to the bowl. So everything is prepared for an epic Saturday.
In the Bowl-Contest the riders will compete in four different groups. Besides the Youth-, B- and A-Group, for the first time there will be a Masters-Group, in which the veterans can compete. But all competitors should make sure that their pads are fastened – with its various hips, corners and transitions the monsterbowl does not allow a single mistake. But still, the motivation will be high as there is a 7.000 US Dollar prize money. Apart from the Bowl-Contest there will be a Best-Trick-Contest, presented by Globe. With the “Cash 4 Tricks” System there are big bucks waiting for all the heavy hitters.
Fullspeed racing is going to happen in the Pavel Death Race. In a similar system as the Snowboard-Boardercross the riders will race a gnarly track inside the Skatepark. In the traditional “Battle-At-The-Berg-Rail” – contest the streetskaters can show their skills. The scary jump over the evil Berg-Rail guarantees nice action.
